Purchases and Refunds
In effect from October 15, 2026. Run by Averrion. Questions: support@averrion.com
The short version
- Bought from us and changed your mind? Ask within 14 days, if you've played under 2 hours, and you get your money back.
- Bought on Steam or another store? Their refund rules apply.
- A refund removes what you bought from your account, and refunded purchases don't count toward the end-of-life promise.
The short version helps you read the rest; the full text below is what applies.
1.What we sell
We may sell the base game, expansions, and other digital content, as entitlements on your Averrion account. What each one includes is described where you buy it. Some content may be added to your account for free, for example during tests or as a thank-you.
Everything is digital and delivered to your account right after payment. You can play what you own wherever we offer the game (for example the desktop download and the browser), subject to the Terms of Service.
2.Prices and payment
Prices are shown before you pay, in your currency where we can, and include or add taxes as the law where you live requires. Payments are handled by payment processors such as Stripe; we never see your full card number. Prices can change, but a change never affects a purchase you've already made.
3.Refunds from us
- Ask within 14 days of buying, if you've played that content for less than 2 hours, and we'll refund you in full, no reason needed.
- Pre-orders can be refunded any time before they unlock.
- If something you bought doesn't work and we can't fix it, we'll refund you.
- Outside these, we look at requests case by case and may say yes.
To ask, write to support@averrion.com from your account email with your order reference. Refunds go back to the way you paid, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
If you live in the EU or UK, you have a legal right to cancel digital purchases within 14 days. By choosing to start playing right away, you agree that the content is delivered immediately and you lose that legal right once you start; our refund rule above still applies on top of it.
4.Steam and other stores
If you bought through Steam or another store, that store handles the payment and its refund policy applies. Ask them for a refund; when they refund you, the content is removed from your account here too.
5.What a refund or chargeback does
A refunded or charged-back purchase is removed from your account. It no longer counts as owned, including for the end-of-life promise. Charging back a purchase instead of asking us for a refund may lead to the account being suspended while we sort it out; please talk to us first.
Abuse of refunds (for example buying, playing through, and refunding again and again) may mean we stop offering refunds to that account.
6.Gifts and codes
If we offer gifts or codes, a gift can be refunded only to the person who paid, before it's claimed. Codes can't be resold and have no cash value.
