1.A work in progress

Averrion: Ascension is in development. Art, balance, skills, maps, story and features change often, things break, and characters will be wiped before launch and sometimes during testing (see the About page). Information on the site, including plans and roadmaps, describes what we intend, not promises, except where we say clearly that something is a promise (such as the end-of-life promise).

2.Provided as is

The site and game are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. The Terms of Service explain the limits of our responsibility.

3.Fiction

The game is a work of fantasy fiction with violence against fictional creatures and dark themes. Characters, places and events are invented; any resemblance to real people or places is coincidence.

4.Health

Some people may have seizures or other reactions to flashing lights and patterns in video games. If you or anyone in your family has epilepsy, talk to a doctor before playing, and stop playing if you feel dizzy, have blurred vision, or twitching. Take breaks.

5.Other people's work

The game uses fonts, models, sounds and other assets made by others under their licenses; the credits included with the game list them. Steam, Lich Souls Gaming and other names and trademarks belong to their owners. Mentioning them doesn't mean they endorse us. Links to other sites are for convenience; we don't control them.

Some placeholder or development material may be made with the help of tools, including AI tools, and may be replaced before launch.
