Cookie Policy

In effect from October 15, 2026. Run by Averrion. Questions: support@averrion.com

The short version

  • Today the site only uses cookies it needs: keeping you signed in and protecting the site.
  • If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we'll ask first where the law requires it, and you'll be able to say no.

The short version helps you read the rest; the full text below is what applies.

1.What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which websites and browser games use to remember things on your device. We call all of them "cookies" here.

2.Cookies we need

These make the site work, so they can't be switched off in our settings (you can still block them in your browser, but signing in won't work):

  • Sign-in cookies: remember that you're signed in, and protect sign-in through Lich Souls and other partners while it happens.
  • Security cookies from our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which help tell people apart from bots and protect against attacks.

3.The game

The browser version of the game saves your settings, login session and solo characters in your browser's local storage. The desktop game keeps the same things in files on your computer. None of it is used to track you across other sites.

4.Cookies we might add later

We may later use:

  • Analytics: to count visits and see which pages are useful, preferably with privacy-friendly tools that don't follow you around the web.
  • Preferences: to remember choices like your language.
  • Advertising or measurement cookies, if we ever show ads on the site (see the Advertising Policy).

Where the law requires consent (for example in the EU and UK), we'll ask before setting anything that isn't strictly necessary, with a clear way to refuse or change your mind. This page will list them.

5.Controlling cookies

Your browser lets you see and delete cookies and block them. Blocking necessary cookies will stop sign-in from working. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires.
